Why Do I Feel Like an Imposter? S3E7

If you’ve ever felt like you don’t belong… like you’re going to be “found out”… you’ve probably felt this before.

We call it imposter syndrome.

Most people think it shows up when you’re in a new room, but what happens when you start feeling that way in places that used to feel familiar?

In this episode, I share my experience of feeling like an imposter in music and then unexpectedly feeling like an imposter in science, even though I had years of experience there.

That led me to a realization:

Sometimes you feel like an imposter because the room is unfamiliar.
But sometimes you feel like an imposter because you are unfamiliar to yourself.

In this episode we explore:

  • Why this feeling shows up in both new and familiar environments
  • What’s happening when your identity starts to shift
  • How to move from self-judgment into curiosity
  • A simple life experiment to help you navigate it

If you’ve been in that in-between space where something feels off, this episode will help you understand what’s going on. It's time to run your next life experiment.

Because self-trust is built one discovery at a time.

Life isn’t something to solve.
It’s something to discover.

Be bold.
Be curious.
Be you.
